Employee injures hand with knife while clean a kitchen part

At approximately 6:15 p.m. on August 16, 1999, Employee #1 was cleaning a metal grill from a rotisserie in a sink using a knife when her hand slipped onto the knife's blade. She cut her right thumb with the blade and was taken to the hospital where medical personnel cleaned and stitched the laceration, then released her. The employee was not instructed in safe procedures for clean the metal grill, but just informed to accomplish the task.
