Investigation Summary
At approximately 9:15 a.m. on September 17, 2003, an employee, a laborer was cleaning the rollers located in the rear of the tractor which was in the strawberry furrow when another tractor located in the same furrow made contact with the employee. The employee sustained a fractured ankle and was released from VCMC emergency room after 2 days of observation. The driver of the second tractor stated that he was not watching where he was going.
