Employee Fractures Leg in Fall Descending Stepladder

An employee was working from a 2.4-meter-tall stepladder, installing wiring for smoke detectors in a high-school classroom. He finished the work and was descending the fiberglass ladder when his foot slipped on the third rung and he lost his balance. The employee fell approximately 1 meter to the ground and fractured his leg. He was hospitalized for his injury.
