Employee Injured When Movie Set Falls

On October 5, 2001, Employee #1 was working with a crew of four coworkers unloading a flatbed trailer that that contained elements of a movie set. The elements are of 2-in. by 2-in. pine studs covered with plywood skin that are used to make lightweight walls of rooms for filming. Three wall units and several sheets of "masonite" had been unloaded from the trailer and Employee #1 and two coworkers were holding them. At this point the two coworkers let go of their ends and Employee #1 could not hold up the weight of the stack and they fell on him. Employee #1 sustained bruises and was transported to the hospital for treatment but was not hospitalized.
