At approximately 7:00 p.m. on January 11, 2003, Employee #1, a waitress at Dal Rea restaurant, was walking past the pick up table in the kitchen when she tripped over the leg of a coworker. Employee #1 suffered a fractured right hip and was transported to Whittier Presbyterian Hospital where she was hospitalized for 28 days.
