Employee's Legs Are Fractured When Struck by Forklift

At approximately 12:15 p.m. on October 29, 2001, Employee #1 was standing eating his lunch near steps of a stairway of a loading dock. His back was to a forklift operator. The operator yelled for Employee #1 to move but Employee #1 was unable to move fast enough. Employee #1 was struck by the rear side of the forklift and was hospitalized with fractured legs.
