Investigation Summary
At approximately 1:00 p.m. on May 13, 2000, Employee #1, of River Canyon Properties, was using a portable hedge trimmer to prune a bush near a swimming pool at a private residence. She was working at a height of approximately 5 ft when her left hand struck against the blade, deeply lacerating her little finger. She was transported to Foothill Presbyterian Clinic, where she was treated for five hours and then released. Employee #1 later stated that she had been distracted, thus causing the accident.
