Investigation Summary
At 4:15 p.m. on August 23, 2017, an employee was operating a Foretress Metal Detector which is used to detect any metal in the salsa that was being prepared. The employee reached into a bypass valve with her hand when it became stuck and the valve closed, pinching and lacerating the employees left ring and middle fingers. Hospitalization was not required.
