Investigation Summary
At approximately 2:15 p.m. on May 15, 1997, Employee #1 was trimming a hedge at a high rise. Employee #1 was working from a stepladder while trimming the hedge with a power trimmer. He lost his balance and began to fall. Employee #1 caught his right hand on the power trimmer. Employee #1 suffered an open fracture of his right third finger and a laceration on his fourth finger.
