Investigation Summary
At approximately 4:50 a.m. on February 10, 2002, Employee #1 of Genco Distribution System, was driving a high-lift truck in Section A of a warehouse. He turned the wrong way and was backing up the truck when he hit a storage rack that was behind the truck causing the protective backing of the truck to bend inwards. The employee exited the truck and laid on the floor complaining of a back injury. The employee was transported by emergency services to Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield where he was treated in the emergency room and released.
