At 6:45 a.m. on February 1, 1997, Employee #1, a part-time worker, was struck by a bundle of three 4 ft high by 60 ft long metal airplane hangar trusses that fell over on his left leg. He sustained crushing injuries and a serious fracture of his lower leg.
