Employee's Finger Amputated in Machine

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on August 25, 2001, Employee #1 was trying to clear blocked material from the feed throat of a blow molding machine. He opened the view window and used his right hand to remove the material while the machine was running. His hand got caught in the screw and resulted in the amputation of his right index finger. Employee #1 was transported to Concentra Medical Clinic and later on was taken to Chino Valley Hospital where he was hospitalized for his injuries.
