Employee falls and is killed when bench collapses

At 3:00 p.m. on August 22, 2017, a work crew was conducting drilling and blasting work on a bench. When the bank gave way and he slid approximately 600 feet down. The employee fell with the bench and approximately 15,000 cubic yards of debris. The employee was killed and was not found.
