FINGER CAUGHT IN DOUGH FORMING MACHINE

EMPLOYEE #1, A MACHINE OPERATOR, WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CLEANING THE MODEL K DOUGH-FORMING MACHINE HEAD. HE SHUT THE MACHINE DOWN AND BEGAN CLEANING THE DOUGH OFF THE MACHINE HEAD. HE HOLLERED TO A HELPER TO "BUMP" THE MACHINE SWITCH TO TURN THE HEAD OVER. WHEN THE MACHINE WAS "BUMPED" EMPLOYEE #1'S HAND WAS IN THE MACHINE HEAD. THE HEAD CAUGHT THE END OF HIS RING FINGER, PINCHING IT OFF.
