Employee's Leg Is Fractured When Struck by Falling Pipe

On March 22, 2007, Employee #1, a truck driver, was picking up a load of steel. A 38 ft long piece of 3.375-in. square tubing, weighing 462 pounds, slid off of the trailer and knocked him off of the vehicle. It then struck his left leg as it fell to the ground. He was hospitalized with a fractured leg.
