Employee Falls from Steps

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on June 27, 2002, Employee #1 fell about six to nine steps from a landing while he was going to his office on the second floor. Employee #1 fell backwards possibly striking his head on the stair or landing. Employee was taken to the hospital where he died. Employee #1 was a scientist working in an office environment. Employee was not exposed to any toxic chemical.
