Employee killed in fall from ladder

Employee #1, a park maintenance worker, was using a 20 ft ladder to trim some tree limbs. The ladder was being held steady by a coworker when the branch upon which it was placed cracked and Employee #1 lost his balance. He fell approximately 12 ft, striking his head on the concrete walkway. Employee #1 was killed.
