Employee injured in fall from wall beam

Employee #1, a carpenter, was standing on a 12 in. wide beam, positioning a glue-lam joist to support the second-level floor. He was using the claws of his framing hammer to move the joist when the claws slipped and he lost his balance. Employee #1 fell 10 ft to the floor, fracturing his left heel, right knee, and his right leg.
