Employee's hand crushed in milling machine

Employee #1, a machine operator, was cleaning metal chips from the screen at the base of a computer-controlled milling machine. He was reaching into a small space between the base and the moving section of the machine when it came over his right hand and crushed it. Employee #1 sustained injuries that required hospitalization.
