Investigation Summary
On April 14, 1999, Employee #1 sustained multiple fractures to the fingers of her right hand when her fingers were caught in the rollers of a hand-fed, unguarded dough "sheeter" (molder). The 4-in. by 19-in. opening where the dough is introduced into molder was not guarded to keep the operators hands from getting into the feed rollers. Employee #1 was hospitalized for her injuries.
