Employee's leg crushed against wall by forklift

At approximately 4:40 p.m. on July 22, 1999, Employee #1, of Logistics Personnel Corporation, a temporary employment agency, was operating a forklift at Coastal Pacific Foods Distributors. The forklift slid on the wet concrete floor and Employee #1 lost control of the vehicle. He attempted to leap clear, but the lift crushed his left leg against the wall of the warehouse. He was hospitalized for several weeks.
