FORKLIFT ACCIDENT RESULTED IN HIP AND PELVIS INJURIES

At 4:25 a.m. on January 16, 1998, Employee #1 was seriously injured when the forklift he was operating spun and slid out of control. Employee #1 was ejected when the lift truck hit the slat bed saw, rebounded and then struck Employee #1 in the lower torso, crushing him against the saw. Employee #1 was hospitalized for one week with a fractured pelvis, dislocated hip, and dislocated pelvis from the spine.
