Investigation Summary
On April 25, 2006, Employee #1, a construction laborer, was assigned to install ladder blocking between the new trusses. After he had installed one of the blocks, he stood on it, and the block gave way. The block had a large knot in it, which was a defect. He fell approximately 13 feet and sustained a fracture to his leg. He was hospitalized for his injury.
