Employee's foot fractured when struck by car

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on October 30, 1994, Employee #1 was standing on a cement porch in front of a tire store. A customer drove up four cement risers and struck Employee #1. He received a compound fracture to his right foot and was hospitalized for five days. The customer thought his car was in reverse gear when it was actually in drive.
