Employee Slips Off Roof and Breaks Ankle

At approximately 7:40 a.m. on November 14, 2003, Employee #1 climbed a 17-ft long aluminum metal extension ladder to access a 10-ft, 6-in. high single-story home roof. After climbing the roof, Employee #1 stepped on the tiled roof and his foot slipped on the dew-soaked wet tile. Employee #1 tried to control himself but lost his balance and he fell to the dirt ground. Employee #1 landed on his left leg and sustained serious multiple fracture of his left ankle. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
