Employee Is Injured When His Forklift Struck Forklift

At approximately 7:15 p.m. on September 24, 2005, an employee was driving a CAT fork lift Number 86, Model EP20T-48A, Serial Number 5TM01155, in the east direction in the receiving and shipping dock area. The employee noticed another fork lift coming out of a trailer when he immediately swerved his forklift on one side. The employee's forklift struck against a parked CAT forklift Number 100, at the ramp of dock door Number 27. The employee's left foot was pinned between the two forklifts causing serious injuries of his left ankle. The employee was hospitalized and treated for laceration on his left foot.
