Fingers Amputated by Machinery

At 6:00 p.m., on April 5, 2005, Employee #1, working for Proulx Manufacturing, was untangling wrapped trimmer lines on roll stand #6 of 1.3 Jenkins extruder line #2, while it was running. Her hands got caught, resulting in the amputation of her left thumb and right ring and little fingers along with multiple fractures and lacerations of the right hand up to her wrist. She was hospitalized for her injuries.
