Investigation Summary
On April 8, 2006, Employee #1 was using a Hitachi pneumatic nail gun, while setting blocks in a frame wall. The nail missed its intended target and penetrated his abdomen. He withdrew the 3.25 in. 16 penny nail himself and then was hospitalized for five days, where he underwent exploratory surgery and repair of organ damage.
