Employee Fractures Foot When Run over by Forklift

At approximately 7:40 p.m., on October 12, 2005, Employee #1 was assisting with moving roofing supplies for the Structural Materials Company. A large forklift (Eagle Picher, Model Number P80T, Serial Number 1KK01036) was being used to unload roofing supplies. This particular forklift was equipped with very large Jeep-like tires with tread. Employee #1 was helping on the ground by moving pallets. Employee #1 was injured, when the forklift backed up and ran over his left foot. He was hospitalized at UCSD hospital for a fractured left foot.
