Employee injured in fall from tank truck ladder

Employee #1, one of several drivers for a company that used tank trucks to transport bulk commodities, was delivering liquid yeast to an industrial plant in Stockton, CA. He was climbing the side ladder of the tank trailer to open the vent when he apparently slipped and fell approximately 6 ft to the ground. Employee #1 sustained a fractured skull and ribs, and bruised lungs.
