Employee injures kneecap in same-level fall onto concrete

Employee #1, a material handler, was walking to the time clock to punch out when she dropped her box knife. She stepped on the knife, lost her balance, and fell to the concrete floor, dislocating and fracturing her kneecap. She was transported to the hospital, where she underwent surgery.
