At approximately 11:30 a.m. on August 17, 1999, Employee #1, of Strohm Tremaine Commercial Builders in South Lake Tahoe, CA, was snapping chalk lines on the roof of a building. He had stepped out on a 1 in. piece of material to snap a line on it when he fell 19 ft 4 in., fracturing his right leg.
