Investigation Summary
At approximately 5:00 p.m. on July 16, 1998, Employee #1, of Smallman Home Maintenance & Roofing, was cleaning up at the end of the day at a small sheet metal shop. He picked up a piece of sheet metal from the floor and threw it against a wall. It bounced off the wall and struck him in the eye, causing a laceration that required several stitches to close. Employee #1 was taken to Tahoe Forest Hospital, where he was hospitalized for two days.
