Employee injured in fall from roof

Employee #1, a carpenter, was on the roof of a two-story home addition, removing a plastic tarp so that roofers could begin work. As he was pulling the tarp, he stepped off the side of the roof and fell 19 ft 10 in., landing on debris on the ground. He suffered a punctured lung and was hospitalized for three days.
