Employee Injures Back in Fall

On March 2, 2009, Employee #1, a supervisor, was working in a sawmill timing the lug chains on the planer chain. As Employee #1 was walking on the frame work of the planer chain, he tripped on a board laying on the frame of the planer chain support and fell approximately 47 inches to the concrete floor. Employee #1 suffered a compression fracture to his back.
