Worker Is Injured after Falling from Step Stool

On August 28. 2009, Employee #1, a facility manager of Lassen Municipal Utility, was testing the oil in three regulators. He used a step stool to access the regulators and remove the 6-inch cover on the top of the regulators. Employee #1 fell approximately 7 feet to the concrete floor and suffered a crushed disc, burns to his eyes and torn cartilage in his right knee.
