Investigation Summary
On January 19, 2007, Employee #1, a log truck driver, was on a landing preparing his truck for a load of logs. He was connecting his air lines and preparing to remove his compensator pin, when he was struck by a log. The log came loose of the heel boom loaders grapple and slid down the deck striking him. He fractured his right ankle and vertebra and was hospitalized.
