Employee fractures leg in same-level fall on sidewalk

Employee #1 was on a sidewalk leading to the parking lot when he twisted his knee and fell to the ground. He experienced pain in his left leg and had trouble walking. The employer called for medical assistance and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital, where he was found to have a fractured left leg. He was hospitalized for more than 24 hours.
