Employee Is Killed When Caught in Wagon Chain

On April 19, 2006, Employee #1, the head maintenance mechanic, was working on a Kirby Wagon at a dairy. For an unknown reason, rather than oiling the chains from the outside of the wagon, he began oiling the chains from inside the wagon, while the equipment was running. He became caught by the teeth of the rotating beaters and was killed.
