Employee Is Injured in Fall from Tree

On August 12, 2005, Employee #1 was trimming trees. A line clearance tree trimmer was approximately 25 ft up in a tree. Employee #1 made a break and was positioned about 4 in. below it. An undetermined event occurred and the 4- ft break snapped. Employee #1, along with the break, fell approximately 25 ft to the ground. Employee #1 sustained multiple fractures and was hospitalized.
