Investigation Summary
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on February 8, 2005, Employee #1 was cutting a tree branch with a chainsaw. One of his legs was on a ladder step, and the other was in the crotch of the tree. When the branch snapped, it twisted and pinned Employee #1 against the tree. After two other employees rescued Employee #1, he was hospitalized at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto for severe internal injuries.
