On May 20, 2003, Employee #1 was working as a roofer for Frank Fiala Roofing, Inc. removing old roofing material from the rooftop of a condominium when he fell approximately 18 feet to the concrete ground. The perimeter of a roof was unprotected. Employee #1 hit his head on a metal stair rail before landing in the foyer of a 4-adjoining condominium.
