Investigation Summary
On December 12, 2001, Employee #1, a gutter cleaner, was one of six employees cleaning gutters at the Walnut Creek jobsite. Just before the accident, Employee #1 was cleaning a lower gutter, which was 8 feet, 8 inches above the ground, when he fell along with the ladder on to the concrete floor. Employee #1, who had been knocked unconscious, was taken to a local hospital with fractures on his right wrist and skull.
