Employee injures fingers in table saw

At about 11:00 a.m. on December 19, 2001, Employee #1, of Fresno Woodworking, Inc., was using a table saw, when his left hand contacted the unguarded saw blade. The employee sustained serious injuries to three fingers and was taken to Community Hospital in Fresno, CA, and then transferred to U.C. Davis in San Francisco, CA, where the employee was admitted for treatment for the amputation of two finger tips.
