Employee Fractures Hip in Fall from Ladder

On December 4, 2003, an employee was installing a new satellite system on a single story residence. The employee was preparing to go from the roof level to the ground. The ladder slipped and fell to the ground as the employee was stepping on to the ladder. The employee fell to the ground and fractured his hip.
