Employee Is Injured in Fall from Steel Beam

Employee #1 was walking on a steel beam, when an extension cord became wrapped around his leg. He disconnected his beamer (clamping device) and attempted to unravel the extension cord, when he lost his balance and fell backward off the steel. He fell approximately 13-14 feet to the ground. He suffered an unspecified fracture but did not require hospitalization.
