Employee's leg fractured when pinned by stacked pallets

Employee #1 was standing in an aisle next to a forklift that was delivering a load of flat fiber boxes to a can label line. She stepped out of the forklift's way as the operator began placing down his load. The load caught the edge of some stacked pallets, and the pallets pinned Employee #1's left leg against a sturdy guardrail. She sustained a fracture of her lower leg, for which she was hospitalized.
