Employee injured when he fell down a stairway

California Vegetable Specialties, Inc. operates several farms in different locations in California. This farm grows vegetables in the Doyle, California area. Employee #1 works for the company as a farm laborer or field hand. Employee #1 was in company-provided housing when he fell down the stairway. Employee #1 was walking down the stairway when he slipped and fell. Employee #1 was not on duty at the time he fell. Employee #1 had completed his workday at the time of his accident.
