Employee Injured In Fall

Employee #1, a carpenter foreman, was standing on the top plate of a framed wall of a single-family residence. Employee #1 and another employee were setting trusses in place. Employee #1 reached down to pick a truss up with his foot on another truss. The truss Employee #1 had placed his foot on was not secure and it moved causing him to loose his balance and fall to the floor. Employee #1 was hospitalized with a fractured vertebra.
