Employee Crushes Hand in Moving Conveyor Chain
An electrician was adjusting a photoelectric eye when the equipment he was working on moved. His left hand was crushed between a metal frame and a conveyor chain. He was hospitalized for his injuries. He had not locked out the equipment before he started working.
